Programme Highlights:

Contract No. CV/2020/01 at Pok Fu Lam South encompasses site formation works for land platforms covering approximately 7 hectares. The project includes the construction of two footbridges with associated lifts across Shek Pai Wan Road, an access road, road widening, junction improvements, and ancillary works such as drainage, sewerage, waterworks, and landscaping. These efforts aim to support the forthcoming redevelopment of Wa Fu Estate. During the site visit, participants will gain insights into large-scale hillside site formation and civil works. This includes the installation of retaining walls, the construction of footbridges, roadworks, and various ancillary activities like landscaping. Participants will also explore the challenges and solutions encountered in construction within difficult terrains and geological conditions, as well as the complex interface issues related to nearby infrastructure, including a declared monument and a reservoir.
