Programme Highlight

The Shek Wu Hui Sewage Treatment Works is currently undergoing a transformation into the Shek Wu Hui Effluent Polishing Plant in three progressive stages. This expansion aims to double its treatment capacity to 190,000 m³ per day within its current footprint. Simultaneously, the plant's sewage treatment standard is being elevated from secondary to tertiary to comply with rigorous discharge regulations. Stage 1 of this upgrade is expected to be finalized by 2025.

-  Applicants who have already successfully registered to or participated in more than FIVE (5) visits organised by Civil Division in the session 2024-25 will be given lower priority during the process of registration.
