About the Seminar
Upon Sr LAI's posting to the Civil Engineering and Development Department (CEDD) in 2019, he participated in the BIM Harmonization study led by the Development Bureau and contributed to the publication of the BIM chapter in the Engineering Survey Practice Guide. As the head of CEDD Survey Division, Sr LAI has been leading the Division to adapt to the evolving practices of engineering surveying, enabling them to address the challenges of the Construction 2.0 era and leverage innovative technologies. Leading the development of a GIS-enabled Common Data Environment (CDE) for the department, Sr LAI will share his experience and insights gained from the department's digitalisation journey and how collaboration is achieved across disciplines to meet diverse business needs of the department.
