International Symposium on Reclamations Using Local Dredged Sediments

Jointly organised by HKIE – Geotechnical Division and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University

The International Symposium on Reclamations Using Local Dredged Sediments will be held from 8:00 am- 5:30 pm on 26 January 2024, at the Chiang Chen Studio Theatre, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. 

In this one-day event, experts from Hong Kong, Mainland China and overseas will share their insights in reclamation technologies, particularly in the use of dredged sediments for marine reclamations. The main purpose of the symposium is to create a platform for local practitioners to interact with international and mainland experts on these technologies and to share experience and knowledge for more sustainable solutions for marine reclamation in Hong Kong.
