Programme highlight:
The Liantang / Heung Yuen Wai Boundary Control Point (BCP) (LT/HYW BCP) is the seventh land crossing between Shenzhen and Hong Kong. This BCP will connect with the expressway systems in Hong Kong and Shenzhen, and thereby shorten the travelling time between Hong Kong and eastern Guangdong as well as southern Fujian and Jiangxi to facilitate greater future regional cooperation and development.
This contract, CV/2013/08, will construct a 4.6 km long dual two-lane trunk road (with about 0.6 km at grade roads, 3.3 km viaducts and a 0.7 km tunnel) connecting Sha Tau Kok Road Interchange to BCP, together with the associated environmental mitigation measures, landscaping, drainage / sewerage, waterworks and utilities works.
Registration Details:
Number of participants is limited to 20 on a first-come first-served basis with priority given to members of HKIE Civil Division.
Applicants who have already successfully registered to or participated in more than FIVE (5) visits organised by Civil Division in the session 2016-17 will be given lower priority during the process of registration.
