Programme Highlight

The Tseung Kwan O Desalination Plant is one of the strategic infrastructures by the Water Supplies Department in its mission to provide reliable and adequate supply of wholesome potable water which is not susceptible to climate change. The works include design and construction of seawater desalination facilities, and testing, commissioning, and operation of the associated systems.

 

In the technical visit, an introduction will be given on the project background, innovative technologies adopted, and the centralized management platform implemented in the project. Then it is followed by a site walk to the Reverse Osmosis Building, 4D CAVE/Safety Experience Training Centre.

• The maximum number of participants is limited to 25 on a first-come first-served basis with priority given to members of the Civil Division.
• Applicants who have already successfully registered to or participated in more than FIVE (5) visits organized by Civil Division in the session 2022-23 will be given lower priority during the process of registration.

• Only successful applicants will be notified on or before the visit.
• An attendance certificate will be issued to participants after the site visit.
