Programme Highlight

Tseung Kwan O – Lam Tin Tunnel (TKO-LTT) will meet the TKO external traffic demand as a result of continual development of TKO. TKO-LTT, together with the proposed Trunk Road T2 and Central Kowloon Route, will form the Route 6 which will provide an east-west express link between West Kowloon and TKO areas. TKO-LTT contains a dual two-lane highway approximately 4.2 km long connecting Tseung Kwan O (TKO) at Po Shun Road in the east with proposed Trunk Road T2 in Kai Tak Development in the west.

The Contract (NE/2015/02) included reclamation of approximately 3 hectares at Junk Bay, construction of the dual two-lane Road P2 of approximately 800 m long with approximately 200 m of the depressed carriageway covered by landscape deck, and implementation of the associated building, civil, structural, marine, electrical and mechanical, landscaping and environmental protection and mitigation works.

The Contract (NE/2017/01) included construction of marine viaduct forming the TKO Interchange at Junk Bay.

This technical visit will start with a brief introduction to the project and be followed by site walk (marine) to major activities on site.
