Speakers

Ir Michelle TANG, Senior Engineer, AECOM

Ir Michelle TANG has been serving in Engineering Consultancy after her graduation in the U.K. She has experience in project management, feasibility studies, tender & contract documentation, design, computer modelling experience in stormwater drainage systems, and work progress planning for civil engineering projects, included various critical & sensitive projects like Harbour Area Treatment Scheme (HATS) Stage 2A - Construction of Sewage Conveyance System; Tseung Kwan O – Lam Tin Tunnel & Associated Works Feasibility Studies; Tung Chung New Town Extension (East); Hung Shui Kiu New Development Area; Kwu Tung North & Fanling North New Development Areas, and Kai Tak Development etc. She obtained The HKIE Young Engineer of the Year Award 2011 – Cert. of Merit.

 

Michelle is also currently an elected District Councilor of the Yau Tsim Mong District Council (YTMDC) of Hong Kong SAR. She is experienced in dealing with DC members of the overall 18 District Councils, Rural Committee and many different community organizations including Indigenous Inhabitant of the New Territories (新界原居民). She is actively involves in various social services engagement, passionate in promoting Engineering Profession to schools, and a columnist in the Headline Daily to promote Engineering Profession to the society.

The seminar will be conducted in English. Presentation materials will be in English.

The number of participants is limited to 120 and priority will be given to members of Civil Division and previous registered participants.
