Programme Highlights
Nam Wan Tunnel is a 1.2 km dual three-lane twin tube tunnel at the southern part of Tsing Yi Island from Sai Tso Wan to Nam Wan Kok. Upon completion, it will be another toll-free road tunnel on Tsing Yi Island in addition to the Cheung Tsing Tunnel. Nam Wan Tunnel forms part of the Highways Department Route 8 Project which provides a 15km long dual three carriageway between Tsing Yi and Sha Tin, linking up our busy Container Ports and the Hong Kong International Airport with the North East New Territories. It will also connect the Lantau Link to the West Kowloon Expressway and provide the much needed relief for the other existing road network. . 
Mr. Sparrow will share his experiences gained during the construction and fit-out of the tunnels.
