Engineering in Practice
Date, time & venue Almost everyone knows that tress and other living plants are valuable. They beautify our surrounding and purify our air, act as sound barriers, manufacture precious oxygen, and help us save energy through the cooling shade in summer and their wind reduction in winter. Therefore, engineers shall take care of the trees being involved in their project. The seminar will discuss on the common malpractices on tress such as topping, overpruning, change in level and root damage. The speaker will also focus on the considerations & basics for successful planting. In addition, details of arborists will also be introduced.
Speaker Mr. Kevin K. Eckert, experienced arborist from the USA |
