The HKIE Civil Division Social Event – Sake Tasting Workshop was successfully held on 25th November, 2011. It was a social event co-organized by HKIE – CVD and Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), with more than 60 members from the 2 institutions participated. The co-organized event was meant to facilitate members of the 2 institutions to socialize.

All the guests were enveloped in an atmosphere of joy and relaxation experiencing various sakes carefully selected by specialist Mr. William.  The scent of the sake and laughter from our members permeated through the ballroom. Members talked about the unique taste of different sake, shared interesting stories, and chatted like old friends.

The wonderful night ended as five members won various prices from the lucky draw. The much-too-short Sake Tasting Workshop was highly appreciated by the guests, and they would certainly support the coming social events of the HKIE Civil Division.
