Programme Highlights

Herrenknecht is one of the technology and market leaders in the area of mechanised tunneling systems. Herrenknecht delivers cutting-edge tunnel boring machines for all ground conditions and in all diameters – ranging from 0.10 to 19 meters. In addition, Herrenknecht develops solutions for the production of vertical and sloping shafts.

This technical talk will present the description and background information on the different types of Tunnel Boring Machine (TBMs) that Herrenknecht supplies based on different ground conditions, and what the future holds for large TBM development. Some project references will be reviewed.
