Programme Highlights

The HKLR project involves construction of 9.4km viaducts, 1.0km tunnels and 1.6kmat-grade roads connecting the HZMB Main Bridge with the Hong Kong Boundary Crossing Facilities (HKBCF). The Contract No. HY/2011/09 comprises the design and construction of a dual 3-lane carriageway in the form of viaduct from the HKSAR boundary to Scenic Hill. Apart from project presentation, a visit to the site will be arranged for members to understand more about the construction of foundation and viaduct in marine environment.

The number of participants is limited to 20 on a first-come first-served basis with priorities given to members of HKIE Civil Division.
