About this event This symposium aims at enhancing organisational excellence amongst related Government officials, academics, professionals, senior managers, scientists and researchers with interest in municipal solid waste and construction conservation, waste-to-energy as well as development, design, engineering management for waste conversion. It will provide participants e.g. leaders and key executives, professional, engineers and managers, with an interactive platform to share and exchange ideas on recent trends, successful applications and insights.
- Engineering Management for Integrated Waste Management Facilities (IWMF) – The session will explore the latest technological development on Integrated Waste Management Facilities (Waste Incineration/Resource Recovery Process), the design, operation and maintenance issues. View and experience from academia and oversea IWMF developer and operator will be invited to share with on the key success factors for the prospect of IWMF in Hong Kong. - Project Management with Minimized Construction and Demolition Waste (C&DW) – The session will look into details about what the additional measures are required that will encourage to minimizing construction waste throughout the project lifecycle as well as sweeties for recycling materials.
