Programme Highlights

The HKLR project involves construction of 9.4km viaducts, 1.0km tunnels and 1.6kmat-grade roads connecting the HZMB Main Bridge with the Hong Kong Boundary Crossing Facilities (HKBCF). The Contract No. HY/2011/03 comprises the design and construction of about 23 hectares reclamation works, a dual 3-lane tunnel, a dual 3-lane at grade road and related roads between HKBCF and Hong Kong International Airport. Apart from project presentation, a site visit will be arranged.

Participants must bring along their own safety helmets, safety reflective vest, safety shoes and a valid Green Card (or HKIE Corporate Membership Card) if available.

The number of participants is limited to 20 on a first-come first-served basis with priorities given to members of HKIE Civil Division.

At 10:30 of 7 May 2014, the number of applicants far exceeded the capacity. The registration process was CLOSED.
