Programme Highlight

Kai Tak Station forms part of the Shatin to Central Link project currently under construction by MTR.

It is a 2-level reinforced concrete box structure situated within the old Kai Tak Airport and constructed by cut-and-cover method. There will be northbound and southbound connection tunnels to the adjacent contracts also constructed by cut-and-cover method, together with a section of mined tunnels under the former Kowloon City piers. The contract also includes 3 entrances, an emergency egress point, trackwork access shafts, ABWF and landscape works.

The number of participants is limited to 20 on a first-come first-served basis with priorities given to members of HKIE Civil Division.
