Programme Highlight

The Tai Tam Country Trail Walk organized by HKIE Civil Division provides a platform for members to reconnect with the nature and experience the beautiful and historical face of Hong Kong. During the trail you will visit four reservoirs built from 1883 to 1907, namely the Tai Tam Upper Reservoir, Tai Tam Byewash Reservoir, Tai Tam Intermediate Reservoir and Tai Tam Tuk Reservior. These historical civil structures provided Hong Kong citizens with continuous fresh water supply in early years.

This trial will also pass through a site of wartime communal stoves and some remnants from World War II.

The registration fee is free of charge

Please complete online registration by clicking the button "enrollment" at bottom right of this page. The registration deadline is 15 October 2015. The number of participants is limited to 25 on a first-come-first-served basis with priorities given to members of HKIE Civil Division. Only successful applicants will be informed on or before 22 October 2015.
