Programme Highlight

The project aims at alleviating the flooding problems in the Happy Valley and Wan Chai areas. The scope of the project comprises the construction of an underground stormwater storage tank with a capacity of 60,000 cu. m, a pump house and associated drains. The underground storage tank will temporarily store part of the stormwater collected from the upstream catchments during heavy rainstorms, thus greatly reduces the risk of flooding to the low-lying area of Happy Valley and Wan Chai District.
