Programme Highlight

WSD plans to progressively implement the Water Intelligent Network. Contract No. 10/WSD/14 aims at establishing 374 district metering areas and pressure management areas for the fresh water distribution system in Kowloon West, Hong Kong Islands and the New Territories. District metering and pressure management installations can facilitate continuous monitoring of the flows and pressures at strategic points within the water supply zones and enable detection of early signs of leakage for timely remedial works.

Attendees will receive a technical briefing provided by the host, followed by a general view of the site at the surroundings. Participants must bring along their own PPE (safety shoes, helmet and vest); a valid Green Card or HKIE Corporate Membership Card if available.
