Care for the Elderly in the Community 2016/17 (月滿佳節譜關懷) – CVD Team

2016-09-11;13:00 – 18:00;Ping Shek Estate Catholic Primary School, 10 Clear Water Bay Rd, Choi Hung, Kowloon (near MTR Choi Hung Station Exit A2)

Programme Highlight:

With support of the Suicide Prevention Services Limited (SPS), we will be visiting solitary elderly with emotional distress and sending them gifts with warm greetings.  A briefing will first be provided by the SPS.  Volunteers will then be divided into small groups to carry out caring home visit in East Kowloon and chat with the elderly. Throughout this event, volunteers will have a better understanding on the living condition of the elderly and they will also help identify their special needs for possiblefollow up by the SPS.

This voluntary work intends to enhance the caring of elderly with emotional distress and to foster the spirit of harmony in our community.

Fee:

Free of charge.
