[FULL] Technical Visit to Tuen Mun – Chek Lap Kok Link Northern Connection Toll Plaza and Associated Works (Contract No. HY/2013/12)

Programme highlight:

Tuen Mun – Chek Lap Kok Link (TM-CLKL) will provide a strategic link connecting the Northwest New Territories with the Hong Kong – Zhuhai – Macao Bridge Hong Kong Port, North Lantau and the Hong Kong International Airport.

The total length of this new route is about 9km long, consisting of two sections: Northern Connection and Southern Connection. For Northern Connection, it will connect the Hong Kong Port and Tuen Mun Area 40 adjacent to the Tuen Mun River Trade Terminal and join Lung Mun Road and Lung Fu Road near Butterfly Beach through the toll plaza at Tuen Mun Area 46.

The Contract involves the construction of a toll plaza of approximately 5.4 hectares and associated structures, carriageways and footbridge, as well as modification and realignment of sections of Lung Mun Road and Lung Fu Road at Tuen Mun, and associated works.

This technical visit will start with a brief introduction to the project and follow by site walk to major activities on site.

• Number of participants is limited to 25 on a first-come first-served basis with priority given to members of HKIE Civil Division.
• Applicants who have already successfully registered to or participated in more than FIVE (5) visits organised by Civil Division in the session 2018-19 will be given lower priority during the process of registration.
