The footbridge is designed as a steel bow-string arch structure with a main span length of 68m across the entire Chatham Road South and the slip road leading from Princess Margaret Road Link. The pedestrian walkway with an overall width of about 7m and its associated sub-structures are suspended by the two arch beams by high-tensioned steel bars.
