The Green Council (GC) has been the official coordinator of Hong Kong and Macau for the ICC since 2008. During the cleanup activities, data cards shall be completed by volunteers which are subsequently compiled by the GC for analysis . The finals are published and used for educating the public, business, industry and government authorities about the issues of marine debris in Hong Kong.
