Programme highlight:
The Kai Tak Development (KTD) is a huge and highly complex development project spanning a total planning area of over 320 hectares covering the ex-airport site together with the adjoining hinterland districts of Kowloon City, Wong Tai Sin and Kwun Tong. The Stage 4 Infrastructure (Contract No. KL/2012/03) covers the infrastructures at the North Apron Area of the Kai Tak Airport, including construction of new roads and drains and two sewage pumping stations.
Attendees will receive a technical briefing on the project provided by the host, followed by a tour around the site on the works of pumping station and DCS trenchless works across the Kai Tak Box Culvert.
Registration Details:
Number of participants is limited to 20 on a first-come first-served basis with priority given to members of HKIE Civil Division.
Applicants who have already successfully registered to or participated in more than FIVE (5) visits organised by the Civil Division in the session 2016-17 will be given lower priority during the process of registration.
